Question by musicisfun: Does a “photographic memory” actually exist?
I remember exact details about things for a very long time.
I remember more details about things, depending upon my interests. The only time that I do not experience this extremely vivid memory is during times of stress.
Examples of the details that I remember are as follows:
Exact dates of events (even minor events)
The exact placement of objects and persons
Any songs played and the keys that they were played in
Things that I read, people’s names, etc. for many, many years
Many details about my life, beginning with things that I did at the age of 2
If it doesn’t exist, what is this?

Yes, and the more formal name would be “Eidetic memory”. If you would like more information, go to wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photographic_memory
